Anger!????

I have come across many strategies and ways and answers to the question "how to deal with my ANGER? everything goes out of control when i get angry! reverse counting from 25 to 0 also doesn't help now...!" and so on and so forth... From all of them by far, below given is the best workable solution to all your anger problems!

1. If there is someone whose bodily actions are not kind but whose words are kind, if you feel anger toward him, MEDITATE to put an end to your anger.
A bhikshu practicing asceticism wears a patchwork robe. On a filthy garbage pile one piece of cloth is still intact. So he takes it home, washes, and sews it into his patchwork robe. If you are wise, when someone’s bodily actions are not kind but his words are kind, pay attention to his kind words. This will help you end your anger.

2. If you become angry with someone whose words are not kind but whose bodily actions are kind, MEDITATE to put an end to your anger.
The surface of a lake is covered with algae and grass. A thirsty man takes off his clothes, jumps into the water, and with his hands clears away the algae and grass, and enjoys bathing in and drinking the cool water. It is the same, with someone whose words are not kind but whose bodily actions are kind. Pay attention to his bodily actions and not words, to end your anger.

3. If there is someone whose bodily actions and words are not kind, but who still has a little kindness in his heart, if you feel anger toward that person, MEDITATE to end to your anger.

At a crossroads a weak, thirsty, hot and deprived person sees a buffalo’s footprint with some stagnant rainwater in it. She thinks, ‘If I use my hand or a leaf to scoop it up, it will become muddy and undrinkable. I will have to kneel down, put my lips right to the water, and drink it directly.’ She does just that. When you see someone whose bodily actions and words are not kind, but where there is still a little kindness in her heart, pay attention to the little kindness that is in her heart so you may end your anger.

4. If there is someone whose words and bodily actions are not kind, and in whose heart there is nothing that can be called kindness, if you are angry with that person, MEDITATE to end your anger.

A man on a long journey falls sick. He is alone and exhausted and he fears he will die. Someone comes along and takes the man’s hand and leads him to the next village. She ministers to his needs. Because of this compassion and loving kindness, the man’s life is saved. When you see someone whose words and bodily actions are not kind, and in whose heart there is nothing that can be called kindness, think: ‘That someone is undergoing great suffering. Unless he meets a good spiritual friend, there will be no chance for him to transform and be happy.’ You will open your heart with love and compassion.

5. If there is someone whose bodily actions are kind, whose words are kind, and whose mind is also kind, if you are angry with that person, MEDITATE to end your anger.

A lake’s water is clear and sweet. A thirsty man takes off his clothes, jumps into the water, and finds great comfort and enjoyment in drinking and bathing in the pure water. His suffering disappears. Give your attention to all his kindness of body, speech, and mind, and do not allow anger or jealousy to overwhelm you.

This is what even Sri Sri says... Meditation is like "sabhi dukho ki ek dava!"

Antar mukhi sada sukhi!

So Keep Meditating and stay happy! :)

The Song... When I Hear...

The Song reminds me of the days we spent,
Of the times we laughed,
Of the times we cried
Of the times we were just together!

It reminds me of the ways that ne'er departed
Of the promises that never broke
Of the talks that never ended!

It reminds me of the ways you cared,
Of the concerns u showed
Of the love u bowed,
Of the words u dared...

It reminds me of the space u left
Of the changes you made
Of the trust we will never regain
Of the things that will now never change!

It reminds of the ways that have departed,
Of the promises that have broken,
Of the talks that have ended....

You are a Master Piece.. ah Master's Piece!

"A plum once said, 'just because a banana lover came by, I converted myself into a banana. Unfortunately, his taste changed after a few months and so I became an orange. When he said I was bitter I became an apple, but he went in search of grapes. Yielding to the opinions of so many people, I have changed so many times that I no more know who I am. How I wish I had remained a plum and waited for a plum lover.'

Just because a group of people do not accept you as you are, there is no necessity for you to strip yourself of your originality. You need to think good of yourself, for the world takes you at your own estimate. Never stoop down in order to gain recognition. Never let go of your true self to win a relationship. In the long run, you will regret that you traded your greatest glory - your uniqueness, for momentary validation. Even Gandhi was not accepted by many people. The group that does not accept you as you is not your world.

There is a world for each one of you, where you shall reign as king /queen by just being yourself. Find that world... in fact, that world will find you.

What water can do, gasoline cannot and what copper can, gold cannot. The fragility of the ant enables it to move and the rigidity of the tree enables it to stay rooted. Everything and everybody has been designed with a proportion of uniqueness to serve a purpose that we can fulfill only by being our unique self. You as you alone can serve your purpose and I as I alone can serve my purpose. You are here to be you... just you.

There was a time in this world when a Krishna was required and he was sent; a time when a Christ was required and he was sent; a time when a Mahatma was required and he was sent; a time when a J.R.D.Tata was required and he was sent. There came a time when you were required on this planet and hence you were sent. Let us be the best we can be. Don't miss yourself and let the world not miss you.

In the history of the universe, there has been nobody like you and to the infinite of time to come, there will be no one like you. Existence should have loved you so much that it broke the mould after making you, so that another of your kind will never get repeated. You are original. You are rare. You are unique. You are a wonder. You are a masterpiece. .. your Master's piece. Celebrate your Uniqueness."

The King Maker!!

He was the most learned of his times, one with complete knowledge of political science, economics along with the art of war fighting supported by the most powerful knowledge of ancient spiritual practices, he was the most powerful strategist who succeeded in uniting Bharat against army of the demigod, alexander the great!

Though he possesed all the knowledge and skills and the talent to rule the country and get himselves as the most powerful king, he rather chose to be a king maker then to be a king himself! History knows him as the most brilliant strategist, Chanakya!
He gave the country the one of the best maurian kings- chandragupta!

In those days of utter chaos in Bharat, when it was all divided and wars happened amongst each other, even one single region posed so many cruelties which would have taken a life time to be fought against them, Chanakya looking at the bigger picture united the whole nation in order to stand up against Alexander, whilst the the small regions were automatically freed from the clutches of internal rages and tyrannical rulers!!
A True Master, Teacher, reformer is the one Who does not aim to take power in his hands but concentrates on the bigger picture and creates not just one but many like him leaders!

I feel this the very need of India today, where there is no lack of young blood, enthusiasm, eagerness to serve and the passion to reform but a proper guidence to channelize the passion and enthusiasm into productive reformation...

Exams!

One evening, just a day before my exam, few of my cousins turned up at my place and they din bother to call me from my room coz they thought it might just disturb me! :) And when i went over to greet them, one of them just commented, " oh my god! how is it before the exam? ears banging? head spinnig????"

It was just then i realised, that for so many of them it must really have been like this? and this must something like what was called "EXAM PRESSURE"!!! Going through the texts till the last moment! Tea s and Coffees to remain up till late nights! nervous breakdowns! going on fasts! and what not!!! This is something most of us go through a few nights/hours before The Exam!

Somehow in the past few years i have realised, i havent experienced any of these!

This is confusing...!

This is confusing...!

Things that should have been happening are somehow not happening, and things that should not have been happening are dont know why happening! And things that are not happening are making the the ones unhappy about them not happening... and some people are so happy with the things happening dat actually shudnt be happening....
and its making absolutely no effect on my happiness watsoever!!! huh!!! strange!
